Job Title: Loan Collection Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a Loan Collection Specialist where you will handle installment loans like auto, RV, marine, and powersports. Your primary responsibilities will include making outbound calls to borrowers to prevent delinquency and bring accounts current. You will guide borrowers from the initial contact to the resolution of their loan situation ('cradle to grave' calls). Additionally, you will recommend actions related to repossessions, bankruptcy, and foreclosures and coordinate appropriate bank and legal actions as directed by your manager.

Essential Skills

• Experience in the food industry, hospitality, or call center environment preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail

• Reliable with a professional demeanor

Nice To Have

• Previous collections experience, though not preferred

• Data entry skills

Work Environment

The role starts in our Akron, OH office for the first 60 days with the potential to transition to remote work based on performance. The training period is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, lasting 6-8 weeks. Following training, the shift is Mon-Fri, 12pm-9pm with one Saturday per month, 8am-1pm. A 10% shift differential applies once permanent, if on the 12-9 shift.
