Automation Systems Engineer - PLC/HMI - Akron, Ohio - JOB 25-00985 Salary Range: $65K - $90K + OT pay Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Area Company is seeking an Automation Systems Engineer. You will Engineer, Test, Commission and Support companies Measurement and Control Systems. Requirements: • BSEE or equivalent relevant work experience. • Two years minimum of hands-on experience -- automation systems for industrial process control. • Must be proficient at programming including PLC / HMI • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experienced. • Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally. (30% travel) Duties: • Programming systems, PLC's & HMI's • Electrical design & documentation • Setup and configure drives • Test and debug equipment prior to shipment • Support start-up and commissioning systems at customer facilities. • Troubleshooting, diagnose and repair Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
