Insight HRM is conducting a confidential search for a Childcare Director & Lead Preschool Teacher who is an experienced early childhood educator with strong organizational, management and leadership skills who is passionate about the philosophy of learning through play for young children.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - approximately 4 pm with a salary range of $40,000- $45,000/year. Additional perks are a retirement plan with 3% match, short term disability and life insurance and a health insurance stipend.

Job Summary:

The Childcare Director & Lead Teacher is responsible for managing the Childcare center and serving as the Lead Teacher for a small, one classroom preschool. The Childcare Director & Lead Teacher manages the childcare center staff, plans, prepares and implements daily activities, monitors children's progress, ensures compliance with Michigan childcare licensing rules and promotes the Academy's philosophy and educational objectives.
