Job Summary: S4 Inc. is seeking a skilled Vulnerability Manager to lead vulnerability analysis and reporting efforts at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). ARL's mission is to discover, innovate, and transition science and technology to ensure dominant strategic land power, aiming to be the nation's premier laboratory for land forces. The Vulnerability Manager will work within the Cybersecurity Office under the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), ensuring compliance with DoD and Army Cybersecurity standards across ARL's environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vulnerability analysis and generate detailed reports.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT vulnerability patching staff to enhance the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program.

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities across ARL environments.

  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure adherence to DoD and Army Cybersecurity standards.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of Cybersecurity experience.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of vulnerability scanning experience.

  • CISSP certification or equivalent

  • Strong analytical skills to perform thorough vulnerability assessments.

  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with IT staff and report findings.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement vulnerability mitigation strategies.

    Key Areas of Focus:

  • Support the Cybersecurity Office under the OCIO within ARL.

  • Manage Cybersecurity services for ARL's three directorates: Research Business Directorate (RBD), the Army Research Directorate (ARD), and the Army Research Office (ARO).

  • Ensure successful performance and compliance with Cybersecurity standards across ARL environments.
