The Raymond Corporation Director of Parts - Addison, TX in Addison, Texas

The Director of Parts will be responsible for leading the aftermarket OEM parts business for lift trucks, conveyance, industrial batteries and other material handling related products. This role will be responsible for support of end user fleet maintenance customers along with our field and shop service technicians. This role will have responsibility to develop and execute the parts growth strategy, enhance the customers ordering experience and improve the operational fulfillment. The position is based in Addison, TX and has seven locations to lead and support. This is not a remote based position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the parts growth strategy including Revenue, Margin, and Net Income.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the In-House Parts Sales and Field Service support teams.
  • Define and achieve sales goals, budgets, and margin targets.
  • Responsible for organization, optimization, and inventory accuracy of all parts
  • Responsible for recommending pricing and gross margin of parts.
  • Responsible for KPI development and review
  • Standard work and process improvement for Parts Team
  • Work with Warranty and Operations to ensure we have the proper parts returns and reimbursement.
  • Work with Inventory Control and Operations to ensure parts are stocked at appropriate levels.
  • Work with Sales Team to help manage customer relationships.
  • Manage safety requirements of the warehouse operations to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Education – Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • An adaptive and problem-solving attitude
  • Order processing / data entry understanding.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role for an OEM parts sales business
  • Customer service experience
  • Approx. 20-25% travel with occasional overnight stays
