The Materials Coordinator/Purchasing Agent is responsible for purchasing, inventory

management, and vendor relations for the plant. Through the use of the computerized maintenance

management system (CMMS), the Materials Coordinator/Purchasing Agent will provide an

uninterrupted flow of materials, supplies, and services to support maintenance, production, and

other department schedules within the plant. The Materials Coordinator/Purchasing Agent will

coordinate the overall lifecycle of purchasing, inventory, and vendor relations processes and will

take a proactive approach in reviewing current systems and procedures, making recommendations

to the Maintenance Manager for continual process improvements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s Degree in a related field.

o A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered in lieu of

an associate’s degree.

o A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required.

2 years of inventory management experience.

• 2 years of purchasing related experience.

• 2 years of manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience.

o Need general parts, electrical, welding, and mechanical equipment understanding.

o Experience in maintenance beneficial.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
