Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Ada, MN. From: 02/15/2024 to 12/14/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day Must Apply By: 07/17/2024 NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 07/17/2024, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. JOB DESCRIPTION: Drives/operates farm machinery, plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops of corn, soybeans and sugar beets. Attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tows harvesting equipment, drives/operates self-propelled combine to harvest crops. Performs duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery and transports produce to elevator or storage area. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations. must be willing to obtain an appropriate drivers license within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. No High School Diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
