Xylem Mechanical Designer in Acworth, Georgia

Xylem is hiring, based on experience, for a Mechanical Designer for one of the locations in Canada or the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment equipment in accordance with customer specifications, engineering directives, and business needs to ensure that deliverables are on time and on budget.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other mechanical designers, mechanical engineers, and project engineers to create design documents for water and wastewater treatment equipment.

  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor to create design documents including 3D models, equipment assemblies, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, etc.

  • Utilization of SAP for execution of work

  • Reviews and comprehends specifications.

  • Perform calculations to support design methodology.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical Vocational degree or certification or 1-5 years applicable experience

  • Willingness to learn new design techniques

  • Previous experience with Autodesk Inventor highly preferred

Salary range:

$54,000.00 - $86,500.00
