Linquest Corporation Systems Engineer IV in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
Description
Position Summary:
LinQuest seeks a System Engineer IV at Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland, to provide expertise in implementing the Army’s unified “One Network” vision for Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) PM TN designs, modernizes, fields and supports the U.S. Army’s continually evolving tactical network transport and networking capabilities. The systems in the portfolio enable integrated global mission command, and voice, video and data exchange -- from home station to the tactical edge of the battlefield -- in support of Army, joint and coalition multi-domain operations. These network transport technologies enable the data-centric network environment that commanders need to retain decision dominance and ensure success on the battlefield against near-peer adversaries.
Key Skills/Responsibilities and Required Experience:
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, testing or related field.
A minimum of eight (8) years of tactical network systems engineering experience OR total of fifteen (15) years w/o B.S. degree.
A minimum of ten (10) years of tactical network systems engineering experience
Ability to lead the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving program requirements including assigning tasks effectively.
Ability to conduct studies of administrative functions, assess operations program effectiveness, develop problem solving solutions, and obtain and organize data to improvement areas.
Ability to develop and improve procedures and processes and draft internal operating procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with SharePoint and TEAMS
Experience with Defense Travel Systems, Army Awards and DoD administrative systems
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience supporting the PEO C3T, or Intelligence & Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) program
Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DOD spacecraft systems
Knowledge of IC and/or DOD acquisition roles, processes, and /or program management
Experience with Model Based System Engineering or Digital Engineering
Compensation:
- The salary for this position ranges from approximately $120,000 to $140,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
