Overview

GovCIO is is seeking a Server Admin, Cloud Admin, DBA, and Cyber-security Team Lead to join our contract providing the Army Communication Electronics Command (CECOM) with IT Support Services. This position will be responsible for leading a team of nine system administrators, cloud administrators, and information assurance analysts who will provide full-time system administration, cloud support, database administration, and cybersecurity support to CECOM. This position and its team will be located at Army Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system administration services, including:

• Data Center Operations

• Web Site and Database Support

• Backup and Recovery Operations

• Network Monitoring and Server Room Operations

• Information Assurance Support

• Application Support Operation

• Application Support Testing and Release Management

• Application Support SQL Design, Development, and Maintenance

• Oversee cloud administration services, including:

• Cloud Systems Administration

• Web Site and Database Support

• Backup and Recovery Operations

• Network Monitoring and Server Room Operations

• Information Assurance Support

• Application Support Operation

• Application Support Testing and Release Management

• Application Support SQL Design, Development, and Maintenance

• Migration of systems and services to a cloud environment

• Oversee information assurance/cybersecurity services, including:

• EMASS Data entry

• System documentation/artifact creation listed in step 1-6 of the tech evaluation

• Security design for cloud technologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• US Citizenship Required

• Bachelor’s degree in related IT Field

• Certifications:

• IAT Level II

• DoD 8570.01 M Baseline Certification Required (CSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP and CCNA-Security+ or equivalent as specified in the DoD 8570.01 M)

• DoD 01 M Computing Environment Certified (MCDST: Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician or equivalent as specified in DoD 8570.01 M) IAT – II Certification

• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)

• Experience: 5 or more years of related experience, including 3 years in a project manager role. A minimum of three (3) years of project management experience is required. Demonstrated leadership of multiple contracts of significant complexity and scope

• Clearance Required: Secret, at a minimum

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $72,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
