Job Description

-support client-server-based IT enterprise in installation, configuration, and networking of Linux based servers

-oversee servers running Red Hat, CentOS, SuSe, and Virtual Appliances.

-installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux Servers

-work with a team of engineers to review and define configurations, create automation scripts to deploy and configure network assets, review, and deploy software applications

-provide support for testing, demonstration, and technical interchange meetings

-troubleshoot, patch, harden, and configuration management

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of Linux admin experience (additional experience may be substituted for the degree)

-DoD 8570 certification - Security + and OS cert, Linux+, RedHat, etc. (90 day waiver may be provided to obtain the OS certification)

-STIG compliance -puppet

-HPE Amanda backup software

-Ovirt

-Zabbix null
