Description

Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance

Work Schedule:Onsite daily.

Role Overview:

The Program Manager will ensure the personnel, planning, and coordination support necessary to accomplish all work requirements within the scope of the contract. You will manage, track, and report project activities concerning schedule, cost, risk, and critical milestones per established business processes and direction from the customers. The Program Manager will also develop and maintain project schedules, facilitate monthly scheduled meetings, review updates, and discuss progress and associated risks/resolutions. You will also interface with other functional areas where necessary. The successful candidate will build collaborative and productive relationships with customers to deliver value and to grow our impact with customers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of solutions and profitable service delivery.

General Skillset

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work both collaboratively and individually

• Critical Thinking Skills

• Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

Specific Skillset

• Experience managing large and midsize programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and policies

• Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee budgets, timelines, and deliverables

• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, contracts, and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

• Ability to coordinate with US military, government agencies, and contractors for mission success

• Expertise in cybersecurity, logistics, SATCOM, and operational planning within a defense environment

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Management, IT, or a related field

• PMI Program/Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of program management experience

• SATCOM experience

• Experience supporting IT programs
