MAG Program Manager in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager to oversee and direct the project team comprised of company employees, and subcontracted personnel.
The PM will accomplish program objectives for development, production, and sustainment to meet the user’s operational needs.
This role is accountable for credible cost, schedule, and performance reporting to the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA).
The PM will also ensure the acquisition of program requirements and actions relating to Government/Contract property that are anticipated, addressed, and performed within and for their program overall project management and direction and implementing course corrections as needed.
Duties shall focus on project monitoring, control, team integration, change integration, and corrective action as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to :
Manage all contractor personnel assigned to the contract to ensure that all are performing appropriately.
Review program CDRL documents for consistency of schedules, compliance, and financial document requirements
Coordinate with affected subordinate PMs on contractor personnel
Lead and participate in IPT's
Evaluate and balance anticipated budget expectations
Work closely with COR on program issues
Provide support in preparing briefing packages for presentation to high level leadership as required
Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review tasks plans and deliverables
Ensure conformance with program tasks, schedules and costs
Manage project scope to include project initiation, scope planning, scope definition and scope change control activities
Conduct cost management to include resource planning, cost estimating, budgeting and cost control activities
Support organizational planning, project team acquisition, and staff development activities
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Experience / Skills:
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in management and supervision of substantive US Army Material Fielding and Integrated Product Support
Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military service may be substituted for education.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Project management skills and the ability to prioritize workload of subordinates to align with project requirements and company initiatives
Proven track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget parameters
Attention to details and able to handle multiple tasks independently
Knowledge of various computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
Ability to multi-task in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
Ability to write technical/price proposals, statements of work, technical Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents and other project-related documentation
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related scientific or technical discipline
OR
Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military service may be substituted for education.
Desired Requirements:
PMP certification or DAWIA III Certification in Program Management.
Prior experience working within Army tactical communications environment.
Experience with SINCGARS Radio, HF radios, SATCOM radios, software defined radios and tactical networking radios is a plus.

Secret Security Clearance
Must be a US citizen
Percent of Travel required: 0%-10%

The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
