Description

Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance

Work Schedule:Onsite daily.

Role Overview:

The role involves overseeing the maintenance and warranty repairs of equipment, ensuring efficient turnaround times as per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key responsibilities include managing the inventory of equipment spare parts, handling both inbound and outbound packaging and shipping, and maintaining accurate asset and warranty tracking. The position also requires implementing changes to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensuring its integrity by liaising with customers and conducting independent audits. Additionally, the role supports the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) by coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and developing guidelines and SOPs for the change management processes. Daily tasks include executing change management activities, maintaining version control of hardware/software baselines, and producing KPI reports to enhance the efficiency of the Change and Configuration Management processes.

Specific Skillset

  • Oversee maintenance and warranty repairs, ensuring timely equipment turnaround.

  • Manage equipment spare parts inventory and packaging/shipping (inbound and outbound).

  • Maintain asset and warranty tracking, ensuring system updates and audit integrity.

  • Implement approved changes to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

  • Liaise with customers to ensure requirements are met and maintain CMDB integrity.

  • Conduct independent audits on the CMDB to compare with actual IT infrastructure.

  • Provide executive support to the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB), including meeting coordination and reporting.

  • Develop standards, guidelines, and SOPs for change management processes (RFC & ASI).

  • Execute daily change management activities and support version control of hardware/software.

  • Produce KPI reports for Change Management and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)

Experience Requirements

  • 4+ Years of software engineering experience

  • IT Asset Inventorying experience

  • Configuration management experience
