Seeking information assurance personnel to work alongside a high functioning and fast paced team of professionals while providing expertise to a test environment that requires integration of multiple platforms, tactical networks, and applications across the enterprise.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Responsible for maintaining IA and ATO compliance of lab networks and systems through vulnerability scanning and remediation, threat mitigation, and risk assessment.

  • Maintaining systems in compliance with RMF(DoDI 8510.01), having strong skills in performing ACAS & Nessus vulnerability scans, the review and completion of DISA STIG checklists, the generation of vulnerability POA&Ms, hardware & software lists, network documentations, and eMASS artifacts in support of ATOs and continuous monitoring.

  • Generation of Memorandums of Understanding and Interconnection Security Agreements, Risk Analysis, and IA documentation.

  • Mitigation of vulnerabilities and maintaining IAVA compliance including patch management and distribution (Manual, WSUS, & SCCM), antivirus installation and daily updates (McAfee).

  • Assist with System Administration duties such as user permissions, account creation, group policy, active directory, VMware administration, and support of management and tactical systems.

  • Perform scanning and audits to ensure compliance with DoD baselines and configuration using tool such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) & Nessus Vulnerability Scanning, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC), and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

  • Coordinates with external organizations for activities such as requirements gathering, connection requests, and Information Assurance (IA) guidance when required.

  • Maintains security documentation (Standard Operating Procedures, Continuity of Operations, hardware list, software list, and network diagrams) to acquire and sustain facility accreditation.

  • Provides technical support to lab support staff and the testing community as required.

  • Enforce policies for the security and safety across the facility.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED AT START: Must hold IAT level II approved security certifications for 8570.01-M and 8140 compliances

  • REQUIRED AT START: Must hold a subject matter cert for Windows or Linux

  • REQUIRED AT START: Active Secret clearance

  • DoDI 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II

  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework and AR25-2

  • Knowledge of handling classified materials and information systems, DoDI 5200.01

  • Familiarity with Army Software Baselines and Architectures

  • Experience with IA products such as ACAS, SCAP, STIG benchmark, ESS/HBSS

  • Experience with IATT & ATO processes and requirements.

  • Experience with COMSEC handling and LE functions a plus.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
