Amentum is now hiring a Senior Applications Systems Analyst in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support an organization's applications systems; analyze, modify, enhance, or adjust existing applications systems; and integrate features or improvements with existing and future systems to improve business efficiency and productivity.

• Oversee the implementation of required hardware and software installations and upgrades for approved applications systems.

• Coordinate testing of the applications systems to ensure proper performance; oversee a team that troubleshoots software and hardware issues, conducts testing on systems, and documents the results.

• Support custom applications programs with various programming languages, using a variety of database and middleware systems. Identify existing operating procedures, problems, and requirements.

• Design models and develop analysis and enhancement solutions.

• Develop documentation and other aids for users to assist with installation, maintenance, and operating procedures.

• Consult with management to establish systems goals and objectives, communicate with clients to determine their needs and to clarify program objectives, and assist in designing systems applications to fit or meets those needs and objectives.

• Develop application specifications, identify the required inputs, and format the output to meet users' needs. May focus on a specific type of system, such as business, accounting and financial, or scientific and engineering.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree.

• Minimum of 9 years of working experience. Will accept 5 years of additional experience in lieu of degree.

• Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting C5ISR DEVCOM programs.
