TEKsystems Reporting Analyst in Abbott Park, Illinois

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Analyst to oversee, execute, support, and monitor capital spend activities for IT infrastructure. This role requires prior experience with IT infrastructure, strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and excellent analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and providing insightful analysis to drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management: Validate and execute purchase order requests based on available funding and project scope. Ensure all purchase orders are accurately processed and tracked throughout their lifecycle.

  • Vendor Coordination: Attend weekly calls with vendors to discuss project progress, address any issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Lifecycle Tracking: Monitor the lifecycle of purchase orders from execution to delivery, ensuring all milestones are met and any discrepancies are promptly addressed.

  • Invoice Verification: Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy. Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Equipment Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all equipment purchases, including delivery status and inventory updates.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process flow improvements and implement metrics to track efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Intercompany Billing: Manage intercompany billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely allocation of costs.

  • Risk Mitigation: Coordinate with the RCE Center of Excellence team to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with capital spending.

  • OUS Coordination: Oversee the coordination of purchase orders for operations outside the United States (OUS), ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field relevant to the healthcare industry, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, asset management, or IT project coordination.

Desired Experience/Training:

  • Industry Experience: 3-5 years of IT experience in a large or midsized multinational healthcare organization, with expertise in one or more areas specific to the supported business process.

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including program/project management governance. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and process-oriented, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Power BI is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to senior leaders and executives.

  • Matrixed Environment: Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, understanding business needs, and providing value-added analysis and insights.

  • Vendor Management: Experience with vendor management, including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring vendor performance.

  • Financial Analysis: Conducts monthly reviews of departmental financial performance versus plan. Provides financial analysis support for key capital projects.

  • Process Automation: Identifies opportunities to automate and improve processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Partnership Building: Builds successful partnerships with internal customers, fostering collaboration and driving strategic initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Recommends process improvements in reporting and analysis, ensuring continuous enhancement of business operations.
