This position is part of the Critical Care division, and as such will become a part of the BD organization in the future. Critical Care will operate as a separate business unit, called Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic global team. We are doing innovative work to support the advancement of care for surgical and critically ill patients. As we continue to invest in major programs and strategic initiatives, we are looking for a talented and passionate marketer for our APM team.

The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for executing global marketing campaigns. This individual initiates the development of marketing materials, plans promotional campaigns and provides support to the field sales force by monitoring trends and market intelligence. Keeping clinicians, patients, and employees top of mind is critical to ensuring that we bring life to our strategy, communications, and experiences in ways that resonate with our customers around the globe.

The position will be on-site at the BD Advanced Patient Monitoring office in Irvine full-time.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop marketing messages based on regional strategies

  • Continuously enhance knowledge of current literature and regulatory/legal requirements

  • Collaborate execution & development of strategic plan of product portfolio

  • Supports introduction of new products in the market

  • Work with product managers in the development and execution of the production of marketing and product training materials

  • Support sales force training (e.g., training on product, messaging, and competition)

  • Support logistics and organization of relevant internal and external meetings

  • Perform competition analysis (market dynamics, product positioning, product/business needs)

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising, sales, or product management

OR

  • Master’s Degree AND 1 year of relevant experience in marketing, advertising, sales, or product management

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Experience in supporting product launches, creating campaign materials, and executing marketing campaign

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills

  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills

  • Strong project management skills, ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

  • Passion for marketing strategy and appetite for learning

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
