Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a full-time Executive Sous Chef to join our kitchen staff to oversee day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen. We offer a competitive wage of $80,000-$90,000 a year based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF

As an Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining the highest levels of food quality and safety in all club kitchens. You oversee the employee Dining culinary operation and ensure a thoughtful balance of menu variety and wellness. You Assist the Executive Chef to prepare requisitions for all catering equipment to ensure a productive culinary operation. Oversee inventory control and approve purchase orders and requisitions. You take ownership of all issues, complaints, service difficulties and potential problems efficiently and immediately inform the Executive Chef and/ or the Culinary Leadership team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE REQUIRED

  • 4-6 years' experience in Culinary, food and beverage or related professional area.

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management.

    The schedule for this full-time position varies. Some Schedules will vary based on need.
