Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. Electrical Prefab Shop Foreman in 101 Ogden Road, Virginia

Job Summary: The Electrical Prefab Shop Foreman position serves as an essential part of our fabrication efforts for our commercial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Electrical Prefab Shop.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain scheduling of fabrication projects

  • Review projects on shop floor and direct manpower for completion of these projects

  • Work with Project Managers and the Prefab Coordinator to facilitate build schedules and coordinate deliveries

  • Review shop task codes ensuring team is meeting or exceeding budgets

  • Receive materials from shipments and maintain inventory

  • Work with vendors on resolutions for any issues with incorrect deliveries

  • Ship material and prefab projects with correct paperwork to job sites

  • Visit job sites to work with Foremen on their prefab needs

  • Receive feedback on prefab issues and work with team for resolutions

    Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Exceptional leadership skills

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software as well as AutoCAD, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, etc.

  • Extensive understanding of all construction project paperwork including drawings, specs, etc.

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

  • Positive, can-do attitude
