Regions Hospital Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for exceptional, patient focused Cardiology Scheduling Coordinators to our Cardiology department and make a difference for our patients and our community. The Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator will provide patient appointment scheduling, reception, clerical and customer service functions to all patients, visitors, and employees. These functions include scheduling appointments and surgical procedures, patient reception, appointment check-in, insurance verification and other related duties as assigned. This work may vary in percentage of time per function, location, and schedule. Work Schedule: Per Diem; 8-hour daytime shifts during clinic hours. Monday through Friday, 7AM to 5 PM. Required Qualifications Two years of experience in healthcare scheduling OR 1 year of experience in Cardiology Department consistently demonstrating proficiency in Cardiology scheduling. Preferred Qualifications Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception, an equivalent program, or a customer service program preferred. Experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with electronic medical record. Competency in medical terminology and health care business environment.
