Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR/Payroll Specialist to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and HR administration, with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, reconciliation, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees. Additionally, the HR/Payroll Specialist will assist with various HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll on a bi-weekly/semi-monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

• Verify and reconcile timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies

• Maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status

• Assist with employee onboarding, including conducting orientation sessions and processing new hire paperwork

• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters

• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis as needed

• Stay up to date on changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration

• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
