GoDaddy.com, LLC Software Development Engineer in Kirkland, Washington

Duties: The Software Development Engineer at GoDaddy.com, LLC in Kirkland, Washington will develop applications and automated solutions for internal and external customers using Javascript, React, Redux, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS. Develop and design software applications, translating user needs into systems architecture and setup continuous deployments (CI/CD) using GitHub Actions. Embrace Agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our products and services. Write efficient, maintainable code primarily in JavaScript, validated with unit (Jest, React Testing Library) and integration tests (Visual and Verification tests using Cypress) to test engineering resilience of our software applications. Utilize experience in AWS (Amazon Web Services) to architect application deployments to continuously improve performance and efficiency. Debug issues in a production environment. Improve test code coverage (unit tests and integration tests). Reengineer systems and code for continuous improvement. Research effort on complex technical problems that involve cross-team collaboration and develop PDR (Pre-Development Reports) / POC (Proof of Concept) that is used to develop solution. Participate in planning, architecting, implementing, and maintaining our client and server code. Contribute new features to shared domain search components used by multiple teams within GoDaddy. Telecommuting permissible. GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $128,502-$172,200 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus three years of experience as a software development engineer or related occupation. Experience must include three years with each of the following: (1) software design, development, testing and implementation; (2) REST APIs; (3) Agile methodologies; (4) Source code management using Git; (5) Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS; (6) SQL and No-SQL; (7) Unix and Jenkins. Experience must also include one year with each of the following: (8) automated testing frameworks, including Cypress or Selenium; (9) React, Redux, GitHub Actions; (10) Python; (11) designing, building, and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS); and (12) application performance tuning using WebPage Test and Google Lighthouse.
